About Guess The Arab

Guess The Arab is a free geography quiz game. You are shown a photo of a real Arab public figure and asked to guess which of the 22 Arab countries they are from. Simple to play, hard to master.

Game Modes

Daily Challenge — One new challenge every day at midnight. Five people, one attempt. Share your score and compare with others.

Classic Mode — Unlimited play. A new random set of five people every game, drawn from the full database. Play as many times as you like.

Where the People Come From

All people in the game are real, notable public figures — politicians, athletes, artists, scientists, journalists, and more — drawn from all 22 Arab countries.

The database was built by querying Wikidata — the free, structured knowledge base that underpins Wikipedia. Each person was verified to have a publicly available image on Wikimedia Commons, an English name, a confirmed birth year, and a clear country of origin.

Arabic names and transliterations were sourced from the Arabic editions of Wikipedia via the Wikidata API.
